Sun salutation A&B Yoga Class is a flowing series of postures in the classical yoga tradition.
A&B Surya Namaskara Is called the birth of your practice, and it establishes the base you will need to create the foundation for a strong practice.
Following your breath and moving the body with your breath will create heat in the body and focus of the mind. This practice is good for any beginner, intermediate, or advanced practitioner. Practice at your own pace and comfort level, and relax in areas of your body where you’re less comfortable.
Mulabandha – is the root lock.
Located at the base of your spine, in men it’s the perineal muscle, and for women, it’s the pelvic floor or Kegel muscle.
Uddiyana Bandha – is the lower belly lock.
This is most simply achieved by imagining you are pushing your belly button against your spine.
